I really tried to turn this into a “simple IG post”… and failed 😅

But I guess there is a reason why I needed two full Substack posts to explain my skincare journey and the one ingredient that actually changed my skin.

At the end of the day, I’m a long-form content girl.

I had a great time putting together this outfit - and I got a lot of compliments - and I’m really liking this exercise of thinking about trying to be creative with my outfits. I guess we can agree that using a summer item for a winter outfit is a good trick, right?

Some scenes from the first real snow of the season in NYC. I feel that every year they say “this winter is gonna be very cold” and I’m always like “but they say that every year” 😂 and I guess they are right at this time? It has been so cold - and the snow is kinda early.

Can’t wait to complain about it 😂

✅ Following a tradition I started a few years ago, I’m bringing you my Favorites list again! I know that when it comes to shopping, “one size doesn’t fit all” - but sometimes lists can help us to make a decision or to get to know new products.

I saved this audio from @coralsantoro a long time ago - and decided to create a reels with this powerful message.

The video was ready but it was only yesterday, reflecting about all the things I lived this year, that it became more meaningful for me. It so easy to fall into the trap of just remembering the things you didn’t do it - so while I was writing all the things that I did, I felt so proud.🥹

Highly recommend this exercise. List your accomplishments. List the things that make you proud! That’s how I’m choosing to end another year living this adventure abroad: PROUD!

☕️ 🍝 @sanbabilanyc - Italian spot, featuring a coffee shop (with an incredible selection of cold and hot coffee drinks) and a restaurant serving delicious Italian food, we loved the environment.

🥮 @welcometospirals - I guess I never cared so much about cinnammon rolls - until I tried the ones from this place. OMG.

🍜 @thaidiner - it’s a famous Thai spot in the city and it is worth the hype. Be aware they don’t take a lot of reservations, it’s mostly walk in.

🧴 @sukoshimart - incredible variety of K-beauty brands!

👨‍⚖️ @thejuryexperience - A very entertaining and unique performance where the audience is the jury deciding the veredict of a case.

📖 And a friendly reminder to sign up for the @nypl newsletter and receive updates and news about their events. That’s how I learned about a free screening of the movie “The Housemaid”

❄️ My favorite way to cope with the cold weather is to play with my outfits. That means putting together something cute, warm and comfortable - because, at the end of the day, this is New York City, where we walk and use public transportation. For reference, I wore this last week!

Don’t be fooled, this jacket is super warm - they have other options, in different lengths.

And these pants… I could just live in these pants 24/7.

Today I completed a 7-day streak of my morning pages!

The Artist’s Way is a famous book to unlock your creativity and I’m very curious to see what’s gonna be the outcome. I highly suggest you do your research about it if you are curious 👀

📖 I borrowed the book from @nypl - yeah buying wouldn’t be expensive, but if you buy something that you don’t use it, it becomes really expensive… and I was reluctant about starting this challenge.

📝 I’m using a website called @750words as my online journal. After some research, I realized this would be the best tool for it.

📱I locked all the distractions from my phone and from my laptop - including social media and even email - for the time I set to write, which is first thing in the early morning. I use an app called @freedom.to

✅ Remember: we don’t need a new year to start something new.
