We had lunch at @hudsonyards today - it was a beau

We had lunch at @hudsonyards today - it was a beautiful and freezing day! I’ve made a reservation for lunch at @estiatoriomilos and, to be honest, I didn’t have a lot of expectations, but omg it was so good!

We got the Weekend Family Lunch, which is $57 per person and includes appetizer, middle course, main course and dessert. A lot of food! Our highlights: Greek meze plate and the calamari (appetizers), the crab cake (main) and the Greek yogurt with honey. Everything was so delicious and the size of the portions was great! We were so satisfied! Plus, they have beautiful views to the Vessel and Hudson River (I forgot to take a picture lol).

Apparently, we will have to go back since we miss the zucchini chips (it seemed that everybody at the restaurant ordered that).

Have you watched @pretenditsacity on @netflix ? If you did, you’ve probably noticed the amazing scale model of NYC right? It is called Panorama and it is is the jewel in the crown of the collection of the @queensmuseum.

Comprising an area of 9,335 square feet and built to a scale of 1:1200 where one inch equals 100 feet, the Panorama is a metropolis in miniature. Each of the city’s 895,000 buildings constructed prior to 1992 and every street, park and some 100 bridges are represented and assembled onto 273 individual sections comprising the 320 square miles of New York City.

These pictures are from some years ago, when my husband and I visited the place. One of the most amazing things in the city, truth to be told! Plus, the museum is open!

Last but not least: what did you think about the show? We watched the first episode yesterday and I just loved it. I’m fascinated about NYC lifestyle storytelling and about thoughts and point of views about the city.
