Who is excited about @summitov? The new observatory in New York City has an official opening date: October 21, 2021. Situated at the top of the iconic modern landmark One Vanderbilt, this new attraction in Midtown is at 1,203 feet. It will offer views of The Chrysler Building and Empire State Building and a multi-sensory experience plus Après, the latest concept from Danny Meyer’s Union Square Events which combines global flavors with NYC influences for a culinary experience exclusive to Summit.

Can’t wait!

I found out about this farm in 2019 and I'm so happy that I was finally able to visit last Monday! I can't believe that we have a tulips farm so close to NYC - it is actually 1h30 min driving from the city!

This farm is located in Cream Ridge - NJ and there are tons of tulips bulbs! You can pick your own flower, take beautiful pictures and enjoy all this beauty!

But make sure to be fast and plan ahead: the season is pretty short - around 2-3 weeks in April. Check their website and buy your ticket in advance ($12/adults).

Last tip: if you can't make it to Holland Ridge, you still have a chance at @waterdrinkerlongisland

"Mooney's," as it's called in the show, is actually Logos Bookstore. Both the exterior and front interior of the bookstore were used for filming, (but there's no basement).

After three weeks of vaccine hunting, I finally got my shot!
I’m not eligible yet, but I heard a lot of testimonials from people that were also ineligible and got leftover doses. When I learned about this, I decided to give a try. Here’s what I recommend:

💉 Check the pharmacies near you that are vaccinating on vaccinefinder.nyc.gov

💉 Call them and ask about leftover vaccines. Ask if they have a list. Ask what time you should walk in if you wanna try your luck

💉 Talk to other people on Facebook groups and NextDoor app. Ask if they know anything, if they know someone who got a shot, which pharmacies are having extra doses

💉 Put your name on hidrb.com - this is a website to get notified about leftover doses

My shot was the only leftover dose available at the pharmacy I tried.

I’m so happy! ❤️💉

Happy first day of Spring!
I know it can take a while to actually get warm, but I'm happy to be able to say it is not wintertime anymore lol

And that means cherry blossom season is on its way! Here are some of my favorite spots to see cherry blossoms in New York City (the sequence follows the gallery):

🌸Conservatory Garden - Central Park hidden-gem - located at 5th Avenue and 105th St. A favorite spot for weddings, it feels like a botanical garden.

🌸Central Park - let me tell you a secret: the best spot for cherry blossom in the park is on the 90th, on the west side of the park, next to the Jackie Onassis Reservoir.

🌸Brooklyn Botanical Garden (3 & 4) - without doubt, the best place to enjoy the beauty of cherry blossom – and certainly the most crowded. My tip? If you can, go during the week.

🌸Corona Park - I love to see the flowers near the Unisphere gigantic monument! It is magical!

🌸Roosevelt Island - walk to the southern tip of the island – the path is crowded with cherry trees.

🌸Remember: we are talking about mother nature, so we don't know exactly when the peak is gonna happen, but the blooming usually starts mid-April.

🌸Final tip! On the Brooklyn Botanical Garden website, you can check the blooming status through CherryWatch.
