👗30 DAYS AWAY - 30 DIFFERENT OUTFITS

When I started to pack for my +30day period in Madrid, I gave myself a challenge:

✅I would pack a minimalistic but functional wardrobe that could allow me to create at least 30 different outfits - and if there’s one thing I discovered about myself during this period abroad, it is that I like a challenge, and I love to have a goal.

Now that I’m back, I decided to share a little bit of this process to perhaps inspire you!

Some notes:

💃🏼My main idea with this challenge was forcing me to come up with new ideas and create a different outfit concept every day – even if that would mean only a shoe change.

📱 @myindyx, an app that allows you to catalog your closet helped me a lot to not only plan what to pack but also to create outfit ideas.

🧥Prioritizing neutral staples that I could easily mix and match was key. I also had to think about strategic layers, strategic shoes and versatile accessories.

Welcome to @sentirnyc - a Mexican plant-based restaurant in New York City 🌮

At this point, I think I’ve been to all - or almost all - restaurants from chef Guy Vaknin, and their creations always surprise me! The dishes are always creative and full of flavor!

At Sentir, it’s not different. I love Mexican food and I was impressed with the plant-based approach to Mexican classics.

Hard to pick a favorite - but the desserts were to die for! Highly recommend!

FAVORITE EATS IN MADRID - SAVE THIS POST 🇪🇸

Here’s the part 2 of my favorite eats in Madrid! Save this post if you are planning to visit the Spanish capital soon - and don’t forget to check part 1

🌮 @tkotacos_ – a tacos chain – with tacos for €1! Such a great deal.

🍔 @hundredburgers_ - a burger spot - they were rated by The World’s Best Burgers, known as the Michelin Guide to Burgers, as the best in the world in its 2024 rankings.

🥐@moulinchocolat – a spot for French-style treats like macarons, chocolate eclairs & galettes. I went there for their viral – and delicious – croissant a la frambuesa (raspberry croissant) filled with a “tarta de queso” crem.

🥘 @casabenigna – this traditional spot in Madrid specializes in “Arroz en Patella” – rice in patella. Such delicious rice with a crusty layer on the bottom served with an aioli sauce.

🍖 @saladedespiece – this is how I cn summarize the experience here: it’s like having fine-dining dishes in a cool and casual environment. All plates are meant to be shared, and they finalize everything in front of you.

🥗 @honestgreens – we discovered this chain in Barcelona, and we got obsessed with their salads and bowls with fresh and healthy ingredients.

🍚Byblos – a casual spot for Lebanese food. Prices are really affordable here, and the portions are generous. A non-touristy spot near Gran Vía.

🍪 @galletownmadrid – one of the best discoveries in Madrid was this spot. The owner was super nice, and she makes American-style cookies – and honestly, in our opinion, her cookie beats a lot of famous cookies in NYC.

🍻 Cañas y Tapas – although the service here was really slow – and that was probably because they were packed and understaffed – tapas here were delicious, especially the croquetas!

I had such an amazing time studying Spanish at @lae_madrid 🇪🇸 The classes were fun, we talked about a variety of topics - and I also learned a lot about the Spanish culture. My main goal by staying in Madrid for a month was immersing myself in the language - and the course held me accountable. Plus, the teachers were so nice and created a safe environment for us.

@restaurantemarinaventura for a delicious paella. Love the environment here too!

@lacasadelabuelo hands down for the best gambas al ajillo (garlic shrimp) I’ve had in my life. OMG. Order a Vermouth as well!

Casa Toni - come here for a variety of tapas. I was impressed with the morcilla - but the mushrooms were also delicious.

@casarevueltaoficial best fried cod in Madrid. There are lines sometimes, but it’s fast.

@casadanimadrid they won the best “Tortilla de Patata” in Spain. That alone should convince you.

@alexcordobess grab the dessert near Casa Dani at this spot - one of the most famous Tarta de Quesos in Madrid. We tried the classic, the white chocolate and the dulce de leche and it’s hard to pick one. It’s just so yummy. Worth every time waiting in line.

@maritta.es we were also lucky to discover this spot on our last day in Madrid. We tried their pistachio tarta de queso and I have no words...

Taberna Andaluza - their menu features a lot of dishes with seafood and fish - everything we tried was delicious. I also recommend their jamon!

@ladolcefina a spot that we casually discovered and we became obsessed with. The Dulce de Leche gelato is just incredible.

Having my sister here @flaneriephoto in NYC with me at least twice a year is something I always look forward to.

Not only because we always bond and create so many memories together, but also because she loves Dalbit - and Dalbit loves her. And, of course, we also love to be her “lab” models to try to different photo ideas and concepts.

Couldn’t be happier with all the snow from yesterday… the result is this: beautiful memories and a little dog that was just over the moon 🐶 luckily, we have photos from these moments.
