Are you in New York City this weekend? Time to check @risenyofficial - I’ve visited this unique experience a couple of times and I never get tired. It features 7 museum-style galleries and you will learn more about the city’s history and see historic artifacts, plus engaging and displays.

We need to celebrate our achievements. Most of times, I forget to do that. I put so much effort into working on my projects and when it’s time to say “it’s a wrap” I don’t give myself the credit. We are always “looking forward” and we forget to live in the present.

This is the main page of a project with @nycgo New York & Company, the city’s official tourism bureau, and Hilton Hotels. With the fantastic help of @renan.lincoln I hosted and produced the 4 videos on this page. I’ve been working on it for two months and today, when I sent the link to my mom, she said: “This is a big deal, look at you, working to promote NYC”.

It sure is. This post is a way to pinch me. Speaking English as a second language and being able to get a project like this is a big deal, and I’m not gonna take this for granted.

🇧🇷 Sabe aquela a história de que a gente precisa celebrar nossas conquistas? Na maioria das vezes, eu esqueço disso. Eu coloco tanto esforço e energia nos meus trabalhos e quando chega a hora de comemorar eu não me dou o devido crédito. A gente tá sempre focando no que está por vir e esquece de celebrar o presente.

Essa é a página principal de um projeto com a New York & Company, órgão oficial de turismo da cidade, e o Hilton Hotels. Com a ajuda mara do @renan.lincoln eu apresentei e produzi os 4 vídeos desta página. Trabalhei nesse projeto nos últimos dois meses e hoje, quando eu mandei o link pra minha mãe, ela respondeu: “Olha só, tu fazendo publicidade para a cidade de Nova York!!!!””

Esse post é pra eu me beliscar. Não ser uma falante nativa de inglês e estar neste projeto é um big deal pra mim e não vou subestimar a grandeza disso. A gente passa por altos e baixos, e eu me considero às vezes meio “fantástico mundo de Bob” pelos meus sonhos, mas tá fluindo ❤️

We are visiting the Finger Lakes in NY and today we did this: the mountain coaster at @greekpeak - a resort 30 min from Ithaca - and it’s so cool! You can go by yourself or with someone and you can control the sped. Best news is that they are open year round. $15 per person!

🇧🇷 Estamos visitando a região de Finger Lakes no estado de NY e hoje a gente foi nessa “montanha-russa” do @greekpeak - resort que fica a 30 min de Ithaca, cidade onde estamos hospedados. Da pra ir sozinho ou com alguém e você controla a velocidade. O melhor é que eles abrem o ano todo! $15 por pessoa - eu já tinha ido na de Lake Placid ano passado e tinha amado a experiência!

Tickets começam em $20 (com chocolate quente e acesso à área externa). Para ter acesso às casinhas de vidro, é uma reserva paga diferente. Eu já tinha ido nessa experiência ano passado e curti bastante! Acho um programa bem legal pra se fazer em turma nessa época do ano.

Had such a wonderful time with these ladies in Roscoe NY 🥹

- We stayed at @theipehouse - a cozy lake house with everything you need. We watched movies, we cooked, we laughed. So fun!

- We also took the opportunity to explore the area. @seminaryhillny and @thekaatskeller are definitely spots you should try! Livingston Manor has cute stores. On the way back, we had lunch at @oakandreeddowntown (soooo good!)

- We rented the car through @turo and the pick up and return process were smooth! It was my first time driving all the way - from the city to the destination - and I’m so proud of myself!

- Aproveitamos pra explorar a região e o @seminaryhillny valeu demais (pena que tava chovendo). Também amamos a pizza do @thekaatskeller e na volta almoçamos no @oakandreeddowntown (divino!)

- Alugamos o carro pelo @turo e o processo foi super simples. Foi minha primeira vez dirigindo uma viagem inteira e tô orgulhosa demais de mim. 🥹

Here are some of the latest restaurants I've been in NYC and I loved it!

- @leitaonyc - Leitão is a Portuguese restaurant - and if you are not familiar with Portuguese food… you should definitely change that! This restaurant brings a lot of Portuguese classics, and I wouldn’t miss the Bolinho de Bacalhau as an appetizer (cod fish croquettes). For the main, I would try the Arroz de Marisco (seafood rice) and one of the Sandes (sandwiches - HUGE!). Please don’t forget to order pastéis de nata. It’s a classic pastry from Portugal!

- @santobruklin - a Brazilian fusion restaurant, comfort food at its finest. Here, I recommend the PDQ (aka cheese bread) and also de coxinhas, a Brazilian classic with a different twist. For main, feijoada (bean stew) is a classic and you can't go wrong with - but moqueca (fish stew) and the pork belly are delicious. Another tip: the cocktail selection is neat

- @nr_nyc - This Japanese spot has great Cocktails and Ramen. A Modern intimate setting in the Upper East Side, perfect for a date. The Blue Cheese Martini is... interesting and the ramen are so delicious!

🇧🇷 Resolvi reunir algumas dicas de restaurantes que estive recentemente e amei:

- @leitaonyc - restaurante português, que traz vários clássicos. Não dá pra perder o Bolinho de bacalhau. De principal, o Arroz de Marisco é delicioso e também os Sandes (sanduíches, enormessss). E, claro, pasteis de nata né gente?

@santobruklin - restaurante fusion brasileiro. Aqui, recomendo o pão de queijo deles, diferente de todos que já provei. E também a coxinha, que leva carne de codorna. A massa é dos deuses. De principal, amamos a Pork Belly e tbm a moqueca - mas eles também têm feijoada! Ahh... a seleção de drinks é incrível!

@nr_nyc - esse é um restaurante japonês no Upper East Side, com pegada íntima e moderna, perfeito pra date. Tem um martini de Blue Cheese que é bem interessante (eu curti). Claro que o destaque fica por conta dos ramen, cheios de sabor.
