If you follow me for a while, you know that I’m obsessed with these tights! They look like see-through tights but are lined with fleece, creating the illusion that they are transparent - and, of course, they are super warm! I also love to wear them as my thermal layer, with wide pants!

NYC DIARIES - Everything I did in November and it’s worth sharing (a little late, but here we are!)

Since I didn’t spend the whole month of November in NYC, I couldn’t gather a lot of recs and tips to feature at this time… but I do think these ones are worth it!

🇫🇷Celebrating @mividaen.nyc birthday at La Grande @boucherie_us - I absolutely love this French restaurant and this Midtown location is just stunning. The setting is beautiful and transports you straight to Paris. (1, 2, 3 & 4)

🏃‍♀️Checking the NYC Marathon and cheering for my friend @raquelpaivablog ... (5)

🍕…and celebrating her achievement at @lavoglianyc - this Italian restaurant on the UES serving pizzas and pasta - the truffle pizza was a delight.(6)

🌰 Discovering the amazing @thenutsfactory - they invited me to a private event to check their new Dubai Chocolate flavors and OMG! You will find freshly roasted nuts & candied nuts, dried fruits, gummies, spices, teas, and more! As you can see, Mr. Snack was really happy… lol. (7 & 8)

🍜Lunch at The House of the Red Pearl at @tinbuilding - it was part of a video I did with @theseaportnyc and were so impressed by the food! The Black Bean Spare Ribs were our favorite dish - but perhaps the highlight was the desserts - Mango Sago Pudding and Roasted Golden Pineapple Upside Down Cake Yellow Curry Ice Cream. (9)

PLUS… this restaurant was featured in one episode of And Just Like That… (10)

🎄I know a lot of people have pet peeves about Holiday-themed places (me too!) but the The Jingle Jangle at @thedeadrabbitny - @rooftopatpier17 - is amazing. The decor is absolutely stunning, and the food is also really good. They will be open for Christmas and New Year’s Eve - and in January, the place will be converted into a Sports Bar. (11 & 12)

HOW TO DRESS FOR WINTER IN NYC 🥶

Technically, Winter doesn’t start until Dec 21st, but the cold weather is already here. So, I decided to do this “outfit anatomy” to show you my go-to layers when it’s really freezing outside.

‼️SHOP THESE ITEMS THROUGH THE LINK ON MY STORIES, LINK IN BIO OR CHECK MY “FASHION” HIGHLIGHTS.

My top 3 tips:

✅Thermal layers are key! The ones from @uniqlo are my favorites. I usually wear only a top - it has to be really really really cold for me to wear a thermal layer underneath my pants, but we all have different thresholds for the cold, so I thought it would be useful to include it on this video.

✅Protect your extremities: gloves, beanies, scarves, good socks - these are essentials.

✅You need a good winter coat (especially if you live here!) - it took me years to finally buy a decent coat and there’s a reason why some winter coats are more expensive... but, before you complain about prices, please remember to SHOP SECONDHAND! That’s how I got two excellent winter coats spending way less.

I TOOK A PANETTONE CLASS IN NYC!

Ok, so first of all, if you don’t know what a panettone is, you are missing out! This is a sweet Italian recipe that’s a traditional part of Christmas celebrations - it’s huge in Brazil. I’ve grown up eating panettone and it’s so nice to see it getting more and more attention in the US!

@terrone_nyc hosted this class this week at their location in Long Island City and I had a blast. Not only you learn how to make a panettone, but it also includes an open bar with wine plus food (we had arancini and pizza). And we brought home two panettone to bake next day - the only “off” was they told us to put the dough upside down 🙃 before baking and that def didn’t work 🥲

‼️While I don’t think they will host another panettone class soon, I do recommend checking their website, cause they offer other classes like pizza, pasta and even chocolate (all with open bar!).

‼️‼️But if you are a panettone lover, check the @newyorkpanettonefestival
from Dec 13th to 15th in LIC - from 12pm to 6pm.

Two other tips - sharing from a follower (thanks @julianascgl ):

- If you go to @terrone_nyc, make sure to stop by @santachiaracaffe, which is right next door, to grab their pistachio croissant (I’m really looking forward to try this!)

- @terrone_nyc serves a delicious breakfast buffet every Sunday from 9am to 12pm (curious about this one too!)

Since it looks like the Fall weather is gone, I thought it would be cute to share some of the outfits I’ve worn over the last weeks in NYC and in Paris, when the weather was still “nice”. And there is a bonus video with my sis and my mom 🥹

Lots of secondhand items, by the way, like the purple pants and the leather shorts. The trick of layering a blazer with a coat is something I want to try more often.
