- All New Yorkers aged 30+ will be eligible for covid vaccination beginning tomorrow 8:00 am.
- All New Yorkers aged 16+ will be eligible beginning April 6th 8:00 am.
So, be prepared to schedule your appt!

Here are some tips:

- Join the Facebook group Helping NYC get Vaccinated (Covid-19)

We were casually in the Upper East Side yesterday and I decided to take a this picture to show you that the place where Joe used to work is real, and it's located here in NYC.

"Mooney's," as it's called in the show, is actually Logos Bookstore. Both the exterior and front interior of the bookstore were used for filming, (but there's no basement).

After three weeks of vaccine hunting, I finally go

After three weeks of vaccine hunting, I finally got my shot!
I’m not eligible yet, but I heard a lot of testimonials from people that were also ineligible and got leftover doses. When I learned about this, I decided to give a try. Here’s what I recommend:

💉 Check the pharmacies near you that are vaccinating on vaccinefinder.nyc.gov

💉 Call them and ask about leftover vaccines. Ask if they have a list. Ask what time you should walk in if you wanna try your luck

💉 Talk to other people on Facebook groups and NextDoor app. Ask if they know anything, if they know someone who got a shot, which pharmacies are having extra doses

💉 Put your name on hidrb.com - this is a website to get notified about leftover doses

My shot was the only leftover dose available at the pharmacy I tried.

Happy first day of Spring!
I know it can take a while to actually get warm, but I'm happy to be able to say it is not wintertime anymore lol

And that means cherry blossom season is on its way! Here are some of my favorite spots to see cherry blossoms in New York City (the sequence follows the gallery):

🌸Conservatory Garden - Central Park hidden-gem - located at 5th Avenue and 105th St. A favorite spot for weddings, it feels like a botanical garden.

🌸Central Park - let me tell you a secret: the best spot for cherry blossom in the park is on the 90th, on the west side of the park, next to the Jackie Onassis Reservoir.

🌸Brooklyn Botanical Garden (3 & 4) - without doubt, the best place to enjoy the beauty of cherry blossom – and certainly the most crowded. My tip? If you can, go during the week.

🌸Corona Park - I love to see the flowers near the Unisphere gigantic monument! It is magical!

🌸Roosevelt Island - walk to the southern tip of the island – the path is crowded with cherry trees.

🌸Remember: we are talking about mother nature, so we don't know exactly when the peak is gonna happen, but the blooming usually starts mid-April.

🌸Final tip! On the Brooklyn Botanical Garden website, you can check the blooming status through CherryWatch.

Do we have any @ultabeauty fans here? Just so you know, the beauty retailer has opened its second location in Manhattan, at Herald Square!

It’s about 12,000 square feet, featuring some unique things like an elevated salon with selfie station, new digital tools and buy-online-pick-up-in-store options with dedicated space.

As a beauty fan, what excites me about Ulta is the variety of brands, from high-end to drugstore names, and including some other options that became successful on the internet. It is a truly playground for everyone that loves makeup and cosmetics!

In case you didn’t know, Ulta has another location in Manhattan, in the Upper East Side.

Address: 2 Herald Square, across the street from Macy's, on West 34th Street between Fifth and Sixth Avenues.
