Living in a New York City apartment means mastering the art of making every square foot count. Space is a luxury here and I know that organizing small places can be overwhelming — but it’s also an opportunity to get creative and intentional about how we live.

In more than 10 years calling NYC home, my husband and I have lived in three different apartments – and I’m happy we were able to score more space each move. And although we live in a relatively spacious 2 bedroom apartment, space is limited.

Over the years, I’ve discovered hacks and strategies that not only save space but also make our apartment feel more functional and inviting.

I hope the solutions I show on this video can inspire you!

I started to take French classes in January this year - before that, I had took some classes for three months yearsssss ago. So I was curious to see how it would be my experience in Paris - this last trip was my first time visiting the city after starting my journey to learn French.

To be honest, I had low expectations and no confidence. But I’m glad I proved myself wrong. It all started during the flight, when I could understand the announcements in French before the translation to English. After arriving in Paris, I paid attention to everything in my surroundings - nothing beats the experience of immersing yourself in a language. And I almost cried 🤣 when I had my first interaction in French at a store: asking if my credit card was accepted, spell my email and understanding the total amount.

I guess instead of focusing on the “OMG this is so hard and I don’t know anything” I decided to celebrate my small wins. It brought me so much joy to realize what I know and being able to do small tasks, like paying for something or just understanding some announcement.

So, I’m just sharing this to remind you that progress takes time and doesn’t happen overnight.
Meanwhile, let’s celebrate the small wins.
