🏃‍♀️ First long run on a “warm day” - I guess running in freezing weather has advantages lol. Currently training for the Paris 10K with @runna - use my code LAURAP and try this incredible app 2 weeks for free!

🎥 Movie time - I was SO exicted to watch “Another simple favor” but it was a completely nonsense.

☕️ Iced coffee, anyone? Not only now I’m also part of this cult, but I can also make my own iced coffee at home with the incredible @ninjakitchen Luxe Café Machine - head to my highlights “Home” to learn more.

💄 Makeup time - obsessed with the new Do It All Radiant Concealer by @itcosmetics - such a natural finish with great coverage

🪞 Fit check - that short period of time where you can use a nice light layer - styled with my favorite tote from @newyorkeratheart_

🍨 Protein ice cream - afternoon snack time made with the famous @ninjakitchen Creami - head to my highlights “Home” to learn more.

💪🏼 Strenght training is a non-negotiable.

🍪 Weekends are for baking experiments. Didn’t achieve the right texture on this lemon, coconut and white chocolate cookie but the flavor was just... delicious.

⏰ Excited about this discovery: @bodystateapp - let’s say the day I took that picture it was pretty accurate, I was dying lol

💵 Secondhand first - so glad I scored this incredible food processor for so little.

📖 Finally reading Atomic Habits. Loving it so far.

🖼️ @frickcollection The famous Frick Collection finally reopened last month - after almost 5 years! Tickets are $30 - and pay-what-you-wish admission is offered Wednesdays from 2 to 6 p.m.

🍨 @saltandstraw I first tried Salt & Straw during a trip to Seattle, and I was so happy when they announced locations in NYC! They offer incredible and creative flavors of ice cream, and it tastes so good! Highly recommend the Salted, Malted, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough!

🍦@softside they serve a vanilla soft serve ice cream topped with olive oil, honey and salt that got viral - and it’s totally worth the hype in my opinion!

🎭 @deathofrasputin you have until the end of May to check this immersive theater experience in Governors Island!

💃🏼@ballethispanico I had the opportunity to check a sneak peek of the new performance by the Ballet Hispánico, which is incredible and beautiful.

🇮🇳 @kebabaursharab I absolutely LOVE indian cuisine and this restaurant is simply incredible! And it was picked by our friends from India.

🍩 @gigisdoughnuts a spot in East Harlem offering DELICIOUS vegan donuts

🥾MANHATTAN URBAN HIKING - aka the Broad City Challenge

When I saw videos on social media about walking Manhattan from top to bottom I got really excited about trying. I didn’t know, but apparently the idea was inspired on Broad City TV series.

🍫 Before I forget - make sure to order the brigadeiros from my friend @brigadeirosnjoy

Last Saturday, my friends and I completed the challenge - and it was such a nice accomplishment (although my friends were cursing me at the end, lol, they said they loved it).

So here are some tips if you are planning to do it:

⏰ Start early: I would say 9h30am is a good time - we were a little late and started at 11am.

☀️Pick a time of the year when the weather is nice - can’t imagine myself doing this in August.

👟 Wear comfy clothes and shoes and don’t forget the sunscreen. Bring a refillable water bottle.

📍 Save some spots on your Google Maps but there are no rules - we followed Broadway for most of the time, but if I do this again, I would include Riverside Park and perhaps Hudson River Park.

‼️‼️‼️‼️And if you want a bigger challenge, keep an eye on @shorewalkers_ny - they promote The Great Saunter, bringing 3,000 walkers together to circumnavigate Manhattan - aka 32 miles!

Hi, my name is Laura and I absolutely LOVE to recreate famous foods at home 😍😂

Baking is my therapy on weekends and I’ve already lost count on how many Levain-style cookies I made lol funny thing is that I’ve never tried their Black and White ones - but I can guarantee mine was DELICIOUS!

I followed a recipe from @modern_honey website (with some twists) but I have a recipe for a Levain style cookie on my blog as well.

@frickcollection reopens on April 17th after almos

@frickcollection reopens on April 17th after almost 5 years! I had the opportunity to check the place during a preview (and I was lucky to be able to take pics, they don’t allow that, but it was allowed during the preview).

In case you are not familiar with, “the Frick is known for its distinguished Old Master paintings and outstanding examples of European sculpture and decorative arts.

The collection originated with Henry Clay Frick (1849–1919), who bequeathed his home, paintings, sculptures, and decorative arts to the public for their enjoyment.”

It was beyond my expectations- it’s stunning, and the location couldn’t be more perfect - you can cross the street and go to Central Park. Highly recommend - I still want to go back to explore with more time.

🎶@mjthemusical - The show dives into Michael Jackson’s creative process during his 1992 Dangerous World Tour, while the story also goes back in time to tell more about how he started his career - and the issues he had on the way. Incredible!

👩‍🍳 @HomeCookingNY Baking Boot Camp - we spent 4 Sundays learning how to make cookies, tarts, and cakes. We had such a great time - and we were able to bring home our creations (and a lot of knowledge, of course!).

🎭 @myfirstexhusband - 4 actors take the stage to incorporate different characters that share the messy, hilarious truths of love, sex, and relationships. We had a lot of fun!

🎪@cirquedusoleil Luzia - this show features a rain curtain, pool, acrobats, surprises, and splashy special effects. I’ve been to a few of their shows over the past years and this was probably the most incredible production.

🍔@smorgasburg - the beloved food market is back - make sure to check my previous video about their new vendors

🧁@dearmamanyc - a spot in a non-conventional area of the city! This coffee shop/restaurant is near Columbia University and the menu features sandwiches, coffee beverages, and delicious pastries.

🥪@tapnyc - a Brazilian spot offering a 100% gluten-free menu featuring Brazilian delicacies like açaí bowls, pão de queijo and… stuffed tapioca.

🍪Chocolate chip cookie from jeans - I had seen so many people recommending this big chocolate cookie from Jean’s - and I was dying to try it. Is it worth it? Totally.

🥗@puravidamiami - I was dying to check Pura Vida Miami since they opened their first location in NYC and when meeting a friend for catching up another day, we decided to go there and I loved it.

🍮@berimbaunyc - probably my favorite 🇧🇷 restaurant in the city - they opened a new - and bigger location - in Midtown and I finally checked it! Love the food - but this pudim was just superior.

We had a blast yesterday at the New York’s Best Croissant - The 2025 Finale 🥐

Organized by @french.morning this event featured finest bakeries in the New York area will compete for the prize of Best Croissant in the City - and by purchasing a ticket, we could try delicious croissants and other pastries and breads from the contestants!

I’m not a professional, so all I can say is that everything we tasted was sooooo delicious!
