WINTER OUTFITS - Some tips and advice - coming from someone who insisted on wearing wool coats on freezing days when move here and quickly discovered it was not sustainable! lol

🧥WINTER COATS - I have two great winter coats - one is from @sam.newyork, and the other one is from @mooseknucklescanada, and I saw a huge difference when upgrading to these more premium brands. You can always save by looking for a secondhand option. @mackage @canadagoose @thenorthface and @patagonia are also great brands!

🧣THERMAL LAYERS - I’m a fan of @uniqlousa thermal layers - and these items are key - especially the tops. I’ve been thinking about getting a thermal pant as well!

🧦FLEECE LINED TIGHTS - I know I talk about these a lot, but it’s because I LOVE THEM! Such a game-changer when wearing dresses or skirts.

👚SWEATERS - you are not gonna be that warm by wearing polyester sweaters. Paying attention to the label composition is something I do for all my clothing.

🩹CROP TOP BAND - such a simple accessory that helps me to style bulky or long sweaters!

As someone who started running about one and a half years ago, I was always amazed and shocked by people who run outside in the cold weather.

But since I’m gonna run my first half-marathon – the United Airlines NYC Half in 2025 – I had no choice but to accept the fact that I would have to join that group, lol.

I got some tips from a friend who already ran 3 half-marathons - thanks @alegailey - and these are all the items I’ve been using to run outside.

If you follow me for a while, you know that I’m obsessed with these tights! They look like see-through tights but are lined with fleece, creating the illusion that they are transparent - and, of course, they are super warm! I also love to wear them as my thermal layer, with wide pants!

NYC DIARIES - Everything I did in November and it’s worth sharing (a little late, but here we are!)

Since I didn’t spend the whole month of November in NYC, I couldn’t gather a lot of recs and tips to feature at this time… but I do think these ones are worth it!

🇫🇷Celebrating @mividaen.nyc birthday at La Grande @boucherie_us - I absolutely love this French restaurant and this Midtown location is just stunning. The setting is beautiful and transports you straight to Paris. (1, 2, 3 & 4)

🏃‍♀️Checking the NYC Marathon and cheering for my friend @raquelpaivablog ... (5)

🍕…and celebrating her achievement at @lavoglianyc - this Italian restaurant on the UES serving pizzas and pasta - the truffle pizza was a delight.(6)

🌰 Discovering the amazing @thenutsfactory - they invited me to a private event to check their new Dubai Chocolate flavors and OMG! You will find freshly roasted nuts & candied nuts, dried fruits, gummies, spices, teas, and more! As you can see, Mr. Snack was really happy… lol. (7 & 8)

🍜Lunch at The House of the Red Pearl at @tinbuilding - it was part of a video I did with @theseaportnyc and were so impressed by the food! The Black Bean Spare Ribs were our favorite dish - but perhaps the highlight was the desserts - Mango Sago Pudding and Roasted Golden Pineapple Upside Down Cake Yellow Curry Ice Cream. (9)

PLUS… this restaurant was featured in one episode of And Just Like That… (10)

🎄I know a lot of people have pet peeves about Holiday-themed places (me too!) but the The Jingle Jangle at @thedeadrabbitny - @rooftopatpier17 - is amazing. The decor is absolutely stunning, and the food is also really good. They will be open for Christmas and New Year’s Eve - and in January, the place will be converted into a Sports Bar. (11 & 12)

HOW TO DRESS FOR WINTER IN NYC 🥶

Technically, Winter doesn’t start until Dec 21st, but the cold weather is already here. So, I decided to do this “outfit anatomy” to show you my go-to layers when it’s really freezing outside.

My top 3 tips:

✅Thermal layers are key! The ones from @uniqlo are my favorites. I usually wear only a top - it has to be really really really cold for me to wear a thermal layer underneath my pants, but we all have different thresholds for the cold, so I thought it would be useful to include it on this video.

✅Protect your extremities: gloves, beanies, scarves, good socks - these are essentials.

✅You need a good winter coat (especially if you live here!) - it took me years to finally buy a decent coat and there’s a reason why some winter coats are more expensive... but, before you complain about prices, please remember to SHOP SECONDHAND! That’s how I got two excellent winter coats spending way less.
